Do you know a changemaker?

Connect them to Shad!

There are so many ways you can help your students connect their passions to pathways with Shad.

Support your students in applying for Shad

Shads are creative, curious, empathetic, self-empowered change makers. If you know a student with those dispositions, encourage them to apply. You know your students best – some might need support writing or submitting an application. You can share our application page, or email us to connect with a Shad Ambassador.

Provide Personal References

Students submit personal references as part of their applications to Shad. Offering to act as a referee, or helping connect with someone who can, can go a long way

Connect with parents

As an educator, you understand the tremendous value of the immersive, authentic learning that happens at Shad. Some students need support in describing that to their parents – you can help them by sharing words and materials.

Connect with us

The Shad team is available to support you, from visits to your school, to connections to other pathways programs, to presentations at your teachers’ conventions. We can even volunteer at your regional science fair! Feel free to email us to get the conversation started, or sign up for our educator newsletter to stay in the loop.
