Being part of the Shad alumni community goes beyond memories and learning – from exclusive university entrance scholarships for Shads entering post-secondary, to curated events, platforms and mechanisms that connect alumni with each other for social and professional dialogue, fostering new friendships across the globe. The Network includes alumni at all inflection points who have incredible stories to tell, successes to share, and new ideas to grow, making a big impact on Canada, and the world.
Help grow that impact. Shad offsets the cost of attending for every participant. For students who face real financial barriers, we go further, providing fee assistance that makes the difference between attending and not attending. This year, $2.8 million in fee assistance went to students who needed it. As Shad grows, so does that need. We’re working toward $5 million by 2030, enough to make sure that every student we find can say yes.
Shad alumni give back at every stage of their careers, and for good reason. You lived it. You know what changed for you that summer and what it set in motion. When you give to Shad, you’re not donating to an organization, you’re handing something forward to a student who is about to have the experience you had.
