Congratulations to the recipients of the Shad Entrance Scholarships for Indigenous Students!

Ces étudiants inspirent leur entourage grâce à leurcapacité à changer les choseset continueront d'avoir un impact positif en mettant leur passion pour les STEAM au service du changement. 

We had a chance to catch up with these future community builders to hear what they are looking forward to at Shad and into the future.  Akemi is excited to meet new friends and explore how STEAM can be used to solve real-world problems. Ewen hopes to put his skills to use as an optometrist, helping people maintain an important aspect of their health. Naja plans to pursue a career in health sciences to help create healthy communities. Adeline can’t wait to explore opportunities and gain insights into different careers this summer. Sky-Lee loves to be creative and aspires to be a published author one day. Jaxon is excited to dive into new topics and expand his knowledge in a new environment. Tucker hopes to help others through a career in medicine. Destin-Jay hopes to learn more about his interest in engineering this summer, particularly how it can intersect with sustainability.
