To me, being awarded with the Loran scholarship means being recognized for the impact that my passion has in the community and being recognized for the potential change I could bring to the world.

R : Comment cette bourse pourrait-elle transformer votre expérience de premier cycle ?

Loran provides more than financial aid to its scholars. The foundation provides a network of incredible changemakers and passionate individuals who will continuously contribute to humanity. By being a part of that network, I will get to learn from great leaders from different backgrounds with different experiences. The mentorships and connections that Loran brings are invaluable and unique, and they will help be a part of my great undergraduate experience.

Q : Que prévoyez-vous de faire après l'obtention de votre diplôme ? Comment comptez-vous continuer à vous mettre au service de votre communauté ?

I hope to one day work as a venture capitalist and use my knowledge and expertise to help driven entrepreneurs grow their businesses and make their dream a reality.

Through Shad, I learned the importance of true friendship and what it meant to be there for one another come rain or shine. I have many friends who I am still in touch with that helped me when I was in need and supported me through challenging times.

Come to the program with an open eye and be ready to learn. Everyone accepted to the program is extraordinary in many different ways, including you.’
