My name is Coco Gao. I’m from Vancouver, BC, and I love to draw and dance. I look forward to experiencing new opportunities at Shad and meeting friends who share the same passions.

Why are you excited to participate in Shad? What are you most looking forward to?

I’m excited to participate in Shad for the opportunities, uncertainty, and knowledge this program offers. I look forward to meeting new peers and experiencing a different lifestyle in a new environment.

What sparks your curiosity or interest in STEAM and/or entrepreneurship?

“Why?” I’ve always wanted to understand the logistics and science behind how things work. STEAM consistently leads to answers while encouraging me to explore and discover more of the unknown.

How do you envision your future?

I envision my future as a balance of passion and ongoing exploration, always ready to share and learn with peers.
