Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.

My name is Chloe Lushman. I am a grade 11 student who works hard in all that I do while expanding my knowledge. For fun, I like to figure skate and walk with my dogs.

Q: Why do you want to participate in the Shad program/What are you most looking forward to?

I am incredibly thrilled to be going to Shad. Growing up in a small, isolated community, there aren’t many opportunities to participate in. By going to Shad, I will gain many valuable experiences and I am hoping that it will help me find what I love to do which will guide my future.

Q: What motivates or sparks your curiosity in STEAM and/or entrepreneurship?

My curiosity in STEAM comes from learning how our world works. Not only is it really fascinating to learn about the “why’s” of life, it’s also a lot of fun to conduct experiments in a lab.

Q: How do you envision your future?

At the moment, I am unsure of exactly what it is that I want to do with my future. What I do know is that I want to do something science related that will leave a positive impact.
