Anica has been part of the Shad community since 2020 and is excited to return to Shad Virtual as Director, Programming & Partnerships. She has spent more than 14 years designing, delivering, and scaling programs that expand education and employment opportunities for young people through experiential learning, entrepreneurship, and cross-sector partnerships.

Throughout her career, Anica has led the development of national initiatives that connect students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences while bringing together educators, employers, entrepreneurs, and community partners to create lasting impact. She is passionate about ensuring every young person has access to the experiences, skills, and networks they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Anica holds a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her planning her next adventure or discovering hidden gems while travelling. She is looking forward to another inspiring summer with Shad and can’t wait to meet this year’s cohort of curious, ambitious, and talented Shads.
