Q: Why do you want to participate in the Shad program/ What are you most looking forward to?

I want to participate in Shad for a few reasons. The first of which is to get access to some amazing opportunities to network with professionals and likeminded people, which is really difficult to do at home. The second reason is because it encapsulates all of my favorite subjects in a caliber that is not available locally. Thirdly it’s just a fabulous opportunity and I’ll be able to go to Ontario for the first time.

Q: What motivates or sparks your curiosity in STEAM and/or entrepreneurship?

My interest in STEAM and entrepreneurship is derived from two things. The first one is that it is a career path that is guaranteed to be constantly evolving, which is great for me because I dislike becoming stagnant. There is progress, which is also necessary for me to maintain motivation. The second reason is that these subjects work incredibly well with my logic-orientated brain.

Q: How do you envision your future?

It is hard to know where I envision myself in the future as the world is evolving so rapidly and I desire not to be one thing my entire life. However, I will likely start out with a focus on entrepreneurship in the technology sector.
