Tell us a little about yourself.  

Hello, I’m Kealan. I’m 16. I’m currently a gr.11 student and have been interested in STEAM since I was 12. I program, make games, make music, and teach/mentor as a hobby. I’m seen as kind, considerate, and respectful. I can’t wait to attend Shad 2026!

Why are you excited to participate in Shad? What are you most looking forward to?

I’m excited as I get to travel away from home. I can’t wait to visit new places with independence. I’m most looking forward to feeling out campus life for university.

What sparks your curiosity or interest in STEAM and/or entrepreneurship?

My main spark for STEAM is to teach/share my passion with others. I was initially sparked by STEAM classes in elementary school. Now, I mentor there hoping to spark students just like I was. 

How do you envision your future?

Fun! I envision fully teaching a STEAM class of my own. Sharing my passion while supporting the next generation of Shad students.
