Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.

I am an artist, with a history of performance arts and visual arts. Though I don’t plan to pursue the arts in the future, it is a big piece of who I am. I also collect bones to turn into jewelry, and my headshot is a photo of me and my latest finds!

Q: Why do you want to participate in the Shad program/What are you most looking forward to?

I am participating in the Shad program because I want to set myself up for a bright future. I feel that when I was younger, I didn’t take risks or opportunities, so I’m finally making the effort for myself.

Q: What motivates or sparks your curiosity in STEAM and/or entrepreneurship?

My favourite subject is math, and I’m coming around to science. I’m hoping that doing this STEAM program will help me be more well-rounded while also enhancing my skills in a more practical way.

Q: How do you envision your future?

I envision my future with a successful career; it’s my goal to be a medical examiner or mortician.
