Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.  

My name is Jaxon Lam and I am from Fort St. James, B.C., specifically Nak’azdli Whut’en. 

Q: Why do you want to participate in the Shad program/What are you most looking forward to?  

I’m looking forward to getting to experience things that aren’t available in such a small town. I haven’t decided on a career for post-secondary, so I hope this experience will help me explore that. 

Q: What motivates or sparks your curiosity in STEAM and/or entrepreneurship?  

Again, living in such a small town restricts the availability of STEAM/entrepreneurship services. 

Q: How do you envision your future? 

I’m unsure of what my future holds, but I hope to learn things about myself and career wise by attending Shad. I really enjoy math, physics, and chemistry and think Shad will really show me the different career paths that I can choose.
