In her role as Recruitment Lead, Leila works to excite students, parents, educators, and community organizations about Shad, while optimizing processes and building important organizational relationships.

Leila loves Shad because it brings together curious, motivated students from across Canada and gives them space to explore ideas that genuinely excite them. As Recruitment Lead, she’s driven by helping young people see possibilities they didn’t know existed.

Before joining Shad, Leila worked at Communitech in business development and program management, and previously recruited students for Siemens Canada’s SCETA program.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Lang School of Business. Outside of work she enjoys singing with Pop Nation Canada, volunteering, board games, and time in nature.
