As Finance Manager, Kafayat brings her expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational excellence to Shad, driving process improvements and digitization initiatives to strengthen Shad’s internal controls and support its mission. 

Kafayat’s experience in financial management has fostered in her a strong appreciation for investing in organizations that empower young people to become innovators and leaders—values she sees reflected at Shad and in the youth who go on to create meaningful impact. 

Prior to joining Shad, Kafayat earned her MBA from Carleton University and built a track record of success in finance roles supporting diverse teams and complex operations. Outside of work, she can often be found on the sidelines of the soccer field, proudly cheering on her three young boys.
