About Community Changemaker Challenge
The Community Changemaker Challenge (C3), presented by Shad Canada and &Vision Inc., is a virtual, hands-on, 4-week design thinking challenge for high school students involved in Kiwanis Key Clubs across the country. Kiwanis, Shad Canada, and &Vision have continuously promoted learning, growth, and community for students, and we want to leverage this opportunity to amplify the impact of each organization.

The Community Changemaker Challenge (C3) is intended to provide students with a unique learning experience and a chance to develop skills and mindsets for problem solving, innovation, business, and entrepreneurship. Teams of four will be formed based on each participating Key Club President’s recommendations and will then complete an expression of interest as a team through Shad Canada’s portal.
The goal of C3 is to “design an innovative solution to a challenge your team identifies for your community This 4-week challenge will kick-off on Friday October 14, 2022, with a mix of synchronous and asynchronous learnings and an opportunity to design and pitch your team’s solution to a panel of experts, including university staff, Shad Canada, &Vision, Kiwanis members, and industry professionals.
