Manager, National Program Operations, Shad Canada
Miranda (she/her) has been involved with Shad in a number of ways since she completed the program herself in 2012 at McMaster University and is currently a part of the Shad Canada central team. Miranda completed a Bachelor of Arts and Science with a combined honours in Anthropology at McMaster University, one of Canada’s most innovative interdisciplinary undergraduate programs. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Anthropology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her research focused on identity and community through tattooing practices.
Before joining the Shad Canada central team, Miranda’s past work experiences focused on bringing STEAM programs and professional development to students and teachers from grades K-12 with a focus on underrepresented students in STEAM.
