Wilfrid Laurier University

Wilfrid Laurier University has been known for academic excellence for more than 107 years, and a hallmark of the Laurier experience is putting this academic knowledge to work in the real world! We’re situated near the uptown core of Waterloo, Ontario. The Waterloo Region is home to Canada’s fastest-growing technology sector, and is part of the Toronto-Waterloo Innovation Corridor, the second largest technology cluster in North America. Laurier also has the largest business degree co-op program in Canada, and is a global leader in social entrepreneurship. Above all, Laurier is dedicated to creating a fulfilling, safe, and successful community!

Laurier’s Waterloo campus is located on the shared traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishnaabe (Anish-nah-bay) and Haudenosaunee (Hoe-den-no-show-nee) peoples. This land is part of the Dish with One Spoon Treaty between the Haudenosaunee and Anishnaabe peoples and symbolizes the agreement to share, protect our resources and not to engage in conflict.
