Winnica Beltrano
Outreach Coordinator – Manitoba
As the Outreach Coordinator for Manitoba, Winnica loves giving back to her local community and Shad network that opened many doors for her as a student.
Winnica attended Shad Calgary in 2015 and went on to become a Program Assistant at the same campus in 2018, in addition to Program Facilitator for Shad Online 2020. She truly believes in the power of the Shad alum network through her experiences working as a Shad intern and serving on Shad’s first panel at the Canadian Science Policy Conference. Winnica’s outreach initiatives are motivated by the desire to introduce students to the same opportunities that she had, so they too can make a difference in their community.
Winnica has a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Calgary and is working towards a career in dentistry. In her spare time, she enjoys running, journaling, and watching movies with her favourite snacks.”
