I’ll always remember how I felt when I received news from Shad in February this year, letting me know I was accepted to the program, and that I would receive a generous donor-funded bursary that would help me cover the costs. Without that caring help, I wouldn’t have been able to go. My family and I were deeply humbled by that act of generosity from a stranger, that gave me the chance for a once-in-a-lifetime growth experience.
Now more than ever, Shads like me, need you. Bursaries allow hardworking youth with financial need to reach high, dream big, and get a head start on their futures.
As I finish my last year of high school, I’m thriving. I’ll graduate prepared for university thanks to the people who made Shad possible for me – the exceptional community of donors whose kindness inspires me to do my best every day.
