Lauren, our PA, started our Saturday off with a game of Jeopardy. Divided into our SHAD Cup team, we enthusiastically answered trivia questions on topics from science and technology to music and history--- all in order to get the mystery prize and bragging rights. Because our team and team 3 tied at 1000, we even had to do a dance off to determine a winner.
After lunch, we headed to Kakebeka falls. It felt great to be able to explore Thunder Bay. We got to stop by Shake Shoppe and treat ourselves to some delicious ice cream after a long week brainstorming and working on our SHAD Cup.
As soon as we finished dinner and had some time for preparation, we began our first and last SHAD 2017 talent show! From dancing, spam poetry, singing, to acrobatics and stand up comedy, I was completely blown away from all the talents exhibited here at SHAD. And just when we didn't think our day would be better, our wonderful PAs surprised us with pizza, movie night, and an extended curfew!
