Waking up early is never fun, but there's nothing worse than being jolted into reality by the sound of a truck backing up outside your window. Who knew 5:30 am was the optimum time to do construction.
The good news is, there's not much a cup of coffee and bacon can't remedy and the day improved as breakfast approached. The last half of the morning was composed of a lecture on the importance of sleep, something no one’s been getting enough of lately. Between the gym maniacs getting up at 6am and the late night gaming sessions, it's safe to say that if everyone combined the sleep they've been getting with that of their roommate, the total might be enough to keep one person functioning properly. Fortunately we took a group nap in the afternoon, which, after three hours of DE time, was much appreciated.
SHAD Carleton ended Friday with a trivia night, showing everyone involved that no matter how smart you are there's still plenty you don't know. From soccer players to obscure plants, the questions were nothing if not eclectic. After an extra long free time, everyone went to bed even more exhausted then they'd been that morning.
