COVID-19 pushed us to become even more agile and bring our legacy live-in program online.  Shad’s newly designed STEAM program includes synchronous real-time sessions, keynote speakers and a signature design project – a spaceflight competition with Blue Origin.

Just like our live-in program, participants will work in pan-Canada teams and pitch a team project to a panel of industry experts.  This year’s projects will demonstrate a meaningful and creative way to use space as a research platform, bring value to the scientific community and have an impact on humankind. And one winning team will have the ultimate opportunity – to build and fly their experiment on Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket.

“Thanks so much for continuing to show our students resilience and adaptability in the face of adversity.”
