32 SHAD Fellows have been honoured with prestigious Rhodes Scholarships
56 SHADs have received Schulich Leader Scholarships since inception of the Schulich Leader program
88 SHADs have received national Loran Scholarships since inception in 1990
The generosity of donors has created excellent programs that inspire STEAM and innovation excellence. According to statistics collected from SHAD surveys:
85% of alumni pursue STEAM studies as undergrads and 80% have at least one post-graduate degree
Close to 20% of SHAD alumni have launched at least one start-up
60% of SHAD alumni startups focus on ICT, Digital Media, Clean Tech, Life Sciences, and Engineering
50% of SHAD alumni startups are in the seed financing stage, or the A-round stage; having successfully navigated concept validation and market validation
65% of SHAD alumni startups employ more than one person, with close to 20% employing 10 or more
