WHAT A SUMMER

ISSUE 1 2017

A MESSAGE FROM SHAD PRESIDENT AND CEO:

What a summer!

The 2017 SHAD program was our largest ever, with 800 incredible youth graduating from our STEAM-based entrepreneurial program to become SHAD Fellows for life.

It's a glimpse of what's to come for this awesome SHAD community.

We've been building profile for SHAD as we launch our growth-and-inclusiveness strategy. (Spoiler alert: we're doubling in size. Read on.)

As we reconnect with you through this occasional newsletter, I just want to thank you for making SHAD a part of your life - whether as a SHAD yourself, as a parent, a policymaker, teacher, donor, or a university partner. You're the reason we can offer life-changing experiences to Canadian youth.

Thank you.

Tim
