Development Coordinator

Amber joined Shad in October 2007 as Development Coordinator. A key member of the development team, she supports fundraising activities through detailed research, and helps cultivate Shad's relationships with supporters.  Amber has prime responsibility for Shad's student and alumni internship programs.

Amber earned an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology Degree from McMaster University and completed a post-graduate program in Sports Administration.  She has many years experience working for non-profit organizations, in areas including event planning, partnership development, marketing, communications and human resources.

Raising three young children with her husband Jeff, Amber is kept busy and amused.  She currently serves on the Baden P.S. Council, and belongs to two book clubs.  She divides her free time between taking her children to their sports activities and pursuing her own interests in quilting, baking, and crafts.
