John Morrison is Past Chair of the Shad Valley Board of Directors, having served in that capacity from 2008 to 2011.

His business experience has included the positions of Group President & CEO - Healthcare at MDS Inc., a health and life sciences company; President & CEO of MDS Nordion, a supplier of isotopes to the global nuclear medicine and sterilization communities; and President & CEO of Continental Can Canada, a diversified packaging company.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick. In addition to serving on the board of Shad Valley International, he is a board member and Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee of the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and has been a member of the International Expert Panel of the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation.   He  is a past Vice Chair of the Board of Governors of the University of Guelph.
